Dan Warmenhoven is chairman and chief executive officer of NetApp, a leader in enterprise data management and open networked storage solutions. Under Warmenhoven's leadership, NetApp has grown to become a multibillion-dollar company and is a recognized market leader in networked storage-a concept the company pioneered.
Warmenhoven joined NetApp in October 1994 and led the company's initial public offering in November 1995. Today, NetApp is included in both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 indices, is ranked as one of FORTUNE magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work for in America and is ranked as one of FORTUNE magazine's Most Admired Companies. In 2007, NetApp was included in the "400 Best Big Companies in America" list by Forbes magazine.
Warmenhoven received an honorary degree from Santa Clara University in June 2007 for his dedication to global business and technology leadership. In 2006, Warmenhoven was named one of the 50 Most Powerful People in Networking by Network World. In 2004, he also won the prestigious National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and in 2001 BusinessWeek named Warmenhoven as one of its Top 25 Managers for the year.
Previously, Warmenhoven served as chairman, president, and CEO of Network Equipment Technologies (N.E.T.), a telecommunications manufacturer. He is a veteran of Hewlett-Packard Co. (HP), where he held senior management positions, including general manager of the Information Networks group. Prior to HP, Warmenhoven was a 13-year veteran of IBM Corporation.
Warmenhoven holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, with honors, from Princeton University.

Tom Mendoza

As vice chairman, Tom Mendoza dedicates his time to helping NetApp customers, partners, and sales teams realize the value that NetApp delivers. Mendoza joined NetApp in 1994 as the head of North American Sales and later served as the company's president from 2000 until 2008.
Mendoza has extensive experience as a technology executive. He has served in an advisory capacity on the board of directors of Netscreen (acquired by Juniper) and Rhapsody (acquired by Brocade) and currently serves on the board of Infoblox.
Mendoza holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame, is an alumnus of Stanford University's Executive Business Program, and is a guest lecturer at both institutions. In September 2000, the University of Notre Dame renamed its business school the Mendoza College of Business upon an endowment from Tom and his wife, Kathy.
Mendoza has been the keynote speaker for such diverse organizations as Oracle, Symantec, CIO forums in multiple cities, and the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a highly motivational speaker and often speaks about corporate culture and leadership for organizations all over the world.

Tom Georgens has responsibility for all product operations and field operations worldwide.
Georgens joined NetApp in October 2005 and served as the company's executive vice president of Product Operations from January 2007 until February 2008. Previously he served as NetApp's executive vice president and general manager of Enterprise Storage Systems.
Before joining NetApp, Georgens spent nine years at Engenio, a subsidiary of LSI Logic, the last two years as CEO. He also served in various other positions, including president of LSI Logic Storage Systems and executive vice president of LSI Logic. At Engenio, he built the business into a successful OEM storage provider for companies such as IBM, Sun Microsystems, StorageTek, Silicon Graphics, and NCR.
Prior to Engenio, Georgens spent 11 years at EMC in a variety of engineering and marketing positions.
Georgens holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of engineering degree in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a master of business administration degree from Babson College.

Ed Deenihan

Ed Deenihan is the executive vice president of NetApp Global Services, where he oversees the strategic direction and worldwide delivery of technical support and professional services consulting. He joined the company in 2000 as senior vice president for Worldwide Sales. During his tenure in this position, he successfully implemented an aggressive business strategy that resulted in NetApp supplementing its traditional technical market focus with a successful drive into the large commercial enterprise and government markets.
Previously, Deenihan was president of the EDS Technology Sector Strategic business unit, headquartered in Santa Clara, California. In this role, Deenihan was responsible for all marketing, sales, and service delivery operations to EDS clients in industries such as semiconductors, software, hardware and peripherals, and medical instruments. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer of the same EDS unit. He began his career at General Motors with assignments in the United States and United Kingdom.
Deenihan holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of business administration degree from the University of Detroit.

Steve Gomo
Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer

Steve Gomo joined NetApp in August 2002. He is responsible for the company's finance, information technology, legal, workplace resources, and investor relations functions.
Gomo is a seasoned veteran with extensive financial and management experience, which includes serving as CFO of Silicon Graphics and, most recently, CFO for Gemplus International S.A., headquartered in Luxembourg. During his tenure at these positions, Gomo was instrumental in strengthening both companies' financial performance, reducing their expenses, and building their credibility with the investor community.
Prior to working at Silicon Graphics and Gemplus, Gomo spent 24 years at Hewlett-Packard Company in various positions, including in finance, financial management, manufacturing, and general management. One of his premier positions during this time was as a sector controller for the company's hard-copy and mass-storage businesses, which generated revenues of $14 billion.
Gomo holds a master of business administration degree from Santa Clara University and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Oregon State University.

David Hitz

As executive vice president, David Hitz is responsible for the future strategy and direction of NetApp.
Dave Hitz and James Lau founded NetApp in 1992 with a desire to simplify storage the way Cisco simplified networking. Hitz and Lau believed that general-purpose computing systems were too complex, so they built dedicated devices called appliances. These appliances were designed to handle one thing well: storage.
Prior to 1992, Hitz worked as a senior engineer at Auspex Corporation, an enterprise storage solutions provider, where he was responsible for file systems and microkernel design. He also held engineering positions at MIPS Computer, focusing on file system and I/O subsystem design for the System V kernel development effort. Before his career in the computer industry, Hitz worked as a cowboy, getting valuable management experience by herding, branding, and castrating cattle.
Hitz holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Princeton University.

James Lau
Founder and Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer

James Lau is chief strategy officer, responsible for guiding the evolution of NetApp's business strategy and identifying additional market and product opportunities to fuel future growth. He cofounded NetApp with Dave Hitz in 1992 and was vice president of engineering from then until 1995.
Prior to starting NetApp, Lau served as director of software development at Auspex Corporation, a file server manufacturer, where he was instrumental in defining product requirements and the architecture of that company's high-performance NFS file servers. Prior to working at Auspex, he was group manager of PC products at Bridge Communications, now known as 3Com.
Lau received a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in computer engineering from Stanford University.

Rob Salmon is the executive vice president of Worldwide Field Operations at NetApp. He is responsible for overseeing sales, services, and marketing and aligning these organizations for stronger integration, impact, and execution. Salmon has been a key contributor to the company since its early days and was instrumental in developing the go-to-market strategy to support the company's growth.
Prior to joining NetApp in 1994, Salmon held various sales positions at Sun Microsystems and Data General Corporation.

Mark Jon Bluth

Mark Jon Bluth joined NetApp in June 1997 as director of Manufacturing. He was promoted to vice president, Manufacturing Operations, in August 1999 and to senior vice president, Operations, in April 2001. Bluth is responsible for providing NetApp with a competitive manufacturing capability with respect to installed quality, cycle time, and cost. He has led the expansion of NetApp's worldwide manufacturing presence.
Prior to joining NetApp, Bluth served as director of New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Operations for Synoptics/Bay Networks, and senior manufacturing engineering manager for MIPS/Silicon Graphics. He also had a 13-year career at Hewlett-Packard Company in a variety of engineering, marketing, and manufacturing management roles.
Bluth holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BSEE from the University of the Pacific.

Rich Clifton is the senior vice president and general manager of Virtualization and Grid Infrastructures at NetApp. Clifton plays a pivotal role in heading up a corporate-wide initiative to achieve market leadership in data management solutions for virtualized server environments. In this role, he is responsible for driving channel partnerships, marketing programs, alliances, services, and training capabilities.
Since joining Netapp in 1999, Clifton has served as vice president and general manager of the Networked Storage Business Units, playing a pivotal role in managing relationships with strategic software partners, enterprise applications, and database solutions. He was primarily responsible for aligning and driving products, sales, services, partnerships, and strategic alliances for NetApp to leverage market opportunities in primary storage (NAS and SAN). Clifton previously was the vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Data Center and Applications Business Marketing at NetApp, where he forged and managed business and technical relationships with strategic partner in the areas of database, applications, and fabric-attached storage.
Clifton has a bachelor of science degree in computer science and business administration from Indiana University.

Tom Gerstenberger is senior vice president of Field Strategy and Operations at NetApp. Gerstenberger is responsible for coordinating a cross-functional view of the Field Operations business. As vice president, Gerstenberger is also heavily involved in structuring the business strategy at NetApp.
Before joining NetApp in November 2004, Gerstenberger spent 15 years with 3Com in a variety of executive and senior management positions, most recently as vice president and general manager of the Personal Systems division. During his tenure at 3Com, he worked as vice president of Finance and Business Operations of the Business Communications company; vice president of Finance for the Network Systems business unit; controller for Worldwide Field Operations; vice president of Worldwide Sales Operations; and vice president, executive in residence of the office of the chairman.

Manish Goel

Manish Goel is senior vice president and general manager of the Data Protection and Retention Solutions Group at NetApp. Goel is responsible for the disk-to-disk backup, disaster recovery, compliance, and digital archival product portfolios at NetApp.
Goel joined NetApp in 2002 as senior director of Corporate Development and later moved to India to setup the technology center for NetApp. Upon his return from India, he assumed the role of vice president of Enterprise Accounts. Prior to working at NetApp, Manish led Corporate Development, M&A,and Business Development for Cadence Design Systems and Copper Mountain Networks. Goel also spent four years as a strategic consultant for McKinsey and Co.
Goel holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jay Kidd

Jay Kidd is the chief marketing officer at NetApp. In that role, Kidd is responsible for all corporate marketing, including branding, press and analyst relations, and demand generation, as well as solution marketing, including product and service marketing, alliances, and field readiness.
Kidd has over 25 years of experience in storage, networking, and high-performance systems. Before joining NetApp, he held the position of chief technology officer and vice president of Product Management at Brocade, where he was vital to developing and implementing the Brocade product road map, including infrastructure and strategic evangelism.
Before joining Brocade, Kidd was vice president of Marketing for Omneon Video Networks, Inc., a supplier of storage and networking equipment for video broadcasters, and Multigen, a real-time 3D simulation software company.
Prior to working at Multigen, Kidd spent seven years at Silicon Graphics (SGI), where he directed marketing efforts for the graphics workstations, servers, and SGI Web systems business. He also worked at Hewlett Packard, where he held key engineering and marketing management positions in the Information Networks Group.

Steve Kleiman
Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist

Steve Kleiman joined NetApp in April 1996. He is currently senior vice president and chief scientist and is responsible for setting future technology directions for the company. Kleiman has designed and developed UNIX and workstation architecture for 22 years.
He began his career in UNIX development at Bell Telephone Laboratories in 1977, where he helped develop the first x86-based UNIX product. Kleiman then moved to Sun Microsystems, where he worked from 1984 to 1996 as a Distinguished Engineer and chief architect of clustered UNIX systems. As chief technologist for Sun's Interactive Services Group, he designed the company's first video server product line. Kleiman was also lead architect for multithreading and multiprocessing in Solaris and is a member of the POSIX Pthreads committee. He developed the Vnodes file system interface and was a member of the original NFS development team at Sun. Kleiman was the project leader of the original port of SunOS to SPARC.
He received a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1978 and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1977.

Marina Levinson

Marina Levinson is the senior vice president and chief information officer of NetApp. In her role at NetApp, Levinson is a key contributor in formulating the company's strategic business and IT goals. She oversees the NetApp Global IT organization and plays an essential part in analyzing and evolving NetApp business processes to enable the company's growth and to optimize the existing NetApp IT infrastructure.
Levinson has over 20 years of IT management experience, dedicating most of her time to scaling IT systems and IT organizations in fast growth environments. She joined NetApp in 2005 from Palm Inc., where she was the vice president and CIO for almost six years. Under her leadership, Palm Inc. was selected twice as a winner of CIO Magazine's prestigious CIO 100 awards. In recognition of her multiple contributions, Levinson was also honored as a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader for 2004.
Prior to Palm, Levinson spent 12 years at 3COM Corporation in various roles, including senior director of Global Integration, director of Business Applications, and manager of Corporate Systems. Earlier in her career, Levinson also held a variety of positions at Spectra-Physics, Tandem Computers, and TRW.

D. Patrick (Pat) Linehan is the senior vice president of Worldwide Sales at NetApp.
In this role, Linehan is responsible for leading the direct sales force and supporting engineers, driving success with our worldwide channel partners, aligning with customer needs through vertical sales and enterprise account engagements, and maximizing efficiency with the support of sales operations.
Linehan's leadership experience spans international high-technology companies engaged in software and hardware development, networking, and telecommunications. Linehan joined NetApp in 2001 as senior vice president of Global Customer Satisfaction, supporting Global Support Centers, Professional and Educational Services, E-service Support, Marketing Services, and RAS Support worldwide. Prior to taking on the worldwide sales leadership position, Linehan held the role of general manager of NetApp EMEA operations, leading the geography's development and growth over the past five years. The scope of Linehan's general management responsibilities expanded to include APAC in 2007.
Before joining NetApp, Linehan was senior vice president of NetManage, Inc., and CEO of NetSoft, Inc., acquired by NetManage. In addition, he held CEO positions at Miralink Corp., StarBase Corp., and Castelle, Inc., and was senior vice president of Xerox's Desktop Software division. Linehan also spent over 13 years at IBM Corp., where he held various sales, marketing, and international management positions.
Linehan holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Gwen McDonald is the senior vice president of Human Resources at NetApp. She is responsible for creating the company's strategic vision for worldwide staffing, employee relations, training, organizational development, compensation and benefits. As part of her role, McDonald also works to preserve the unique cultural values and principles at NetApp, which have enabled the company to be ranked as one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Places to Work" for two consecutive years.
McDonald has more than 20 years of experience in human resources. Prior to joining NetApp, McDonald worked at 3COM Corporation for 14 years, serving in a variety of positions such as senior vice president of Corporate Services, vice president of Worldwide Product and Supply Operations, and director of Human Resources for the Business Connectivity Company. McDonald also was the Human Resources manager for LSI Logic's Santa Clara operations and served at Fairchild Semiconductor for 12 years in various human resources positions, including as the senior Human Resources manager for the Linear division.
McDonald holds a bachelor of science degree in human resources and organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco. She currently is on the board of directors for Springboard Forward, a non-profit organization whose mission is building career advancement capabilities for the entry-level workforce.

Brian Pawlowski

Brian Pawlowski is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at NetApp. Since joining NetApp in 1994, he has been involved in the design of high performance, highly reliable storage systems. Pawlowski has worked on open protocols for storage since an earlier position at Sun Microsystems, was co-author of the NFS Version 3 specification and is currently co-chair of the NFS Version 4 working group at the IETF. Pawlowski led the design team for NetApp's first SAN product and holds several patents related to that work. Pawlowski started the Advanced Technology Group at NetApp in 2004 to conduct storage research. Additionally, he has been driving the Open Source strategy at NetApp, defining NetApp's community engagements and directing funding to open source efforts, such as FreeBSD, Linux and Xen, critical to NetApp's customer's success. He is a member of the board of the Linux Foundation.

Suresh Vasudevan is a senior vice president and the general manager of the Networked Storage and Manageability Group at NetApp. Suresh is responsible for overseeing the Decru product strategy, as well as participating in strategic business planning and development for Decru product offerings.
Suresh joined NetApp in 1999 as senior manager of Business Development and later became director of Strategic Alliances. In these roles, he helped establish and manage alliances with OEMs and led partner initiatives with global systems integrators and channel partners. As senior director of Software, Suresh also managed product marketing, planning, and strategic partnerships for the Systems and Application Software division of NetApp.
Before joining NetApp, Suresh worked at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chicago as a senior engagement manager, focusing on product marketing, operations, and marketing strategy.

Rusty Walther is the senior vice president of Global Support at NetApp, where he leads a large, complex, and diverse enterprise support operation. He joined the company in 2005. Walther is responsible for all postsale customer and partner-facing response and resolution activities around the world. He oversees a global ecosystem of support centers, stocking locations, field engineers, and support partners on six continents to help ensure 24x7x365 administrative and technical coverage to NetApp customers and business partners.
Prior to joining NetApp, Walther served as vice president of Customer Support in several startup companies, leading AboveNet Communications and ONI Systems to successful IPOs. This followed several leadership positions in large Silicon Valley companies such as Bay Networks, 3Com, and Nortel. Prior to his career in Silicon Valley, he spent sixteen years in the federal government designing, constructing, and managing a variety of worldwide IT systems, including serving as director of U.S. Marine Corps West Coast LAN, WAN, and Data Center Operations.

Jeffry R. Allen

Jeffry Allen is a member of the Board of Directors at NetApp. Prior to his role of the board, Allen was the vice president of business operations at NetApp. He managed manufacturing operations and took responsibility for content delivery and NearStore business lines as well as strategic initiatives for the SAN market. Allen joined the company in 1996 as CFO and vice president of finance and operations.
Before coming to NetApp, Allen served as senior vice president of operations for Bay Networks, where he was responsible for manufacturing and distribution functions. From 1990 to 1995, he held the position of controller for SynOptics Communications and became vice president and controller for Bay Networks, the new company created via the merger of SynOptics and Wellfleet Communications.
Previously, Allen had a 17-year career at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he served in a variety of financial, information systems, and financial management positions, including controller for the Information Networks Group.

Carol Bartz is chairman of the board, president and CEO of Autodesk, Inc., the world's leading supplier of design software and one of the biggest PC software companies in the world. Since Bartz took the helm in 1992, the company has diversified its product line and grown revenues from $285 million to $952 million in FY04.
Bartz previously held positions at Sun Microsystems, most recently serving as vice president of worldwide field operations and an executive officer of the company. Before joining Sun, she held product line and sales management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and 3M Corporation.
Appointed to President Bush's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, Bartz is one of a select group of industry leaders expected to play a key role in shaping and setting the government's high tech agenda?ranging from R&D funding to new broadband incentives. She also serves on the Board of Directors of BEA Systems, Cisco Systems, NetApp, and the Foundation for the National Medals of Science and Technology.
Bartz holds an honors degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin. She was granted an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from William Woods University.

Alan L. Earhart was appointed to the NetApp board in December 2004. Much of Earhart's distinguished career in Silicon Valley has been spent in various positions at Coopers & Lybrand, including San Francisco regional managing partner, San Jose Office managing partner, technical consulting partner, and chairman of Coopers & Lybrand's National Venture Capital Industry Group. During his time at PwC, Earhart served such clients as Ampex, Cisco, Convergent Technologies, Legato, Polycom, and Varian Inc. Earhart currently serves as chairman of the audit committee on the boards of Quantum Corporation, Foundry Networks, and Monolithic Power Systems. Earhart has a bachelor of science degree in certified public accounting from the University of Oregon.

Georgens holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of engineering degree in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a master of business administration degree from Babson College.

Edward Kozel

Edward Kozel joined the NetApp board in May 2006. He is also a member of Yahoo!'s board of directors since October 2000. He has been CEO of SkyRider, Inc. since March 2006 and has been a managing member of Open Range Ventures, a venture capital firm, since January 2000. Between January 2004 and December 2004, Mr. Kozel was a managing director of Integrated Finance, Ltd., a private advisory services firm. Until 2002 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Cisco Systems, Inc., where he worked for 11 years in a variety of roles, including chief technology officer and senior vice president of business development. During his tenure at Cisco, he founded the business development group which, under his direction, was responsible for more than 22 technology acquisitions and 25 minority investments. Mr. Kozel is an industry innovator who previously worked at Boeing, McDonnell Douglas and SRI International, where he participated in the early design and development of the Internetwork Protocol (IP) model and TCP/IP, packet radio networks and highly distributed information systems. In addition to Yahoo!, Mr. Kozel serves on the board of Reuters Group PLC, Symbol Technology, Inc. and he graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in electrical engineering.

Mark Leslie

Mark Leslie was appointed to the NetApp board in July 2004. Leslie is currently the managing director of Leslie Ventures. Mr. Leslie was the founding CEO of VERITAS Software. He joined the Board of Directors of VERITAS Software in May 1988, and became the chairman, president, and CEO when VERITAS was restarted as a software company in 1990. Leslie currently serves on the boards of Avaya Corporation (NYSE: AV) and a number of privately held high-technology corporations, including MetricStream Corporation, Model N Software, Outerbay Technologies Corporation, Panta Systems, PostX Corporation, and Scalix Corporation, and is on the boards of nonprofit organizations Community Foundation of Silicon Valley, Leslie Family Foundation, and VERITAS Software Foundation. Leslie is also a lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Stanford University Graduate Engineering. Leslie received a bachelor of arts degree in physics and mathematics from New York University in 1966 and completed Harvard Business School's program for management development in 1980.

Nicholas Moore

Nicholas G. Moore was elected to the NetApp board in April 2002. Moore is the recently retired global chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the professional services firm formed in July 1998 by the merger of Coopers & Lybrand International and Price Waterhouse. He most recently served as chairman of Coopers & Lybrand International as well as chairman and CEO of Coopers & Lybrand LLP (the U.S. firm). Following the merger, he served for over two years as CEO of the U.S. firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers and for three years as global chairman of PwC.
Moore joined Coopers & Lybrand in 1968 and became a partner in 1974. He led the firm's tax practice in the San Jose office from 1974 until 1981, when he was named managing partner of that office. He was elected to the Firm Council in 1984 and to its Executive Committee in 1988. He became vice chairman for the firm's West Region in 1991 and, a year later, client service vice chairman. Moore was elected chairman and CEO of the U.S. firm in 1994 and became chairman of Coopers & Lybrand International in 1997.
His earlier client service experience focused on Silicon Valley venture capital firms and venture capital backed technology companies. While serving as chairman and CEO in New York, he maintained senior partner relationships with a number of clients, including Ford, AT&T, AIG, and Cisco Systems.
Moore is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the California Bar Association, and the California and New York State Society of CPAs. He also recently completed his term as trustee of the Financial Accounting Foundation, the entity overseeing the FASB.
Also, he is chairman of Co-operation Ireland and is on the Board of Trustees of the Committee for Economic Development. He has served as vice chairman of the Business Committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and continues serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Mary's College of California.
He received a BS in Accounting from St. Mary's College and a JD from Hastings College of Law, the University of California at Berkeley.

George T. Shaheen was appointed to the NetApp board in June 2004. Shaheen is currently the CEO of Siebel Systems. Mr. Shaheen's distinguished career in the technology industry spans over 30 years, including CEO and chairman of Webvan Group Inc.; CEO and Global Managing Partner of Andersen Consulting, which later became Accenture, from 1989 to 1999; and IT governor of the World Economic Forum. Shaheen currently serves on the boards of Siebel Systems, think3, and 24/7 Customer, and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Marcus & Millichap Company. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management and served on the board of his alma mater, Bradley University.
Shaheen has a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor of science degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.

Robert Wall has over 30 years of varied management experience with leading technology, investment, entertainment, and consumer product companies. Since 1984, he has been president of On Point Developments LLC, a venture management and investment company. From June 1997 through November 1998, he was chief executive officer and a director of Clarity Wireless, Inc., a broadband wireless data communications company that was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc., in November 1998. From April 1994 through August 1997, he served as chairman of the board, president, and chief executive officer of Theatrix Interactive, Inc., a consumer educational software publisher. Wall, the founding president and CEO of MIPS Computer Systems in 1984, has served on the board of Silicon Graphics, Inc., worked as chairman and CEO of Presentation Technologies, and headed corporate finance at Hambrecht and Quist, Inc., as well as investment and merchant banking at Cowen & Company.
